Boardwalk Brass Quintet
The Boardwalk Brass Quintet was founded by trumpet player Jenny Griffith, a retired US
Marine Band member. She is joined by Gerald Lockwood on trumpet who is currently a member of the Air National Guard Band of the West Coast. Cindy Deane, french horn, is principal hornist at New Valley Symphony and horn coach for Burbank High School. Tracy Adams, euphonium, is also a retired US Marine Band member. Justin Raines, instructional assistant and adjunct professor at LA Harbor College, provides the bass parts for the group on tuba.
In addition to classical pieces, their repertoire includes arrangements of jazz and popular tunes such as How High the Moon, This Guy’s in Love with You, and La Paloma.
